موقع تعليم مرضى العظام الكويتي (كوبي/KOPE) هو موقع الكتروني مستقل غير ربحي أسساه د. مشعل الهدهود و د. نجلاء السري لتحسين رعاية المرضى من خلال التعليم و التثقيف. تم تطوير الموارد التعليمية والتثقيفية ومراجعتها من قبل مؤسسين الموقع وهما من الخبراء الرائدين في الكويت في طب وجراحه وتأهيل العظام. موقع كوبي(KOPE) الالكتروني يشتمل على مواد تعليمية من نصوص وصور ولكنه لا يحل محل الاستشارة الطبية والتشخيص والعلاج الطبي المتخصص، ولكن يعتبر هذا الموقع عامل مهم لتمكين المرضى من المعلومات والمعرفة المعتمدة للوصول لأفضل النتائج.
لماذا؟
بعد نجاح مجموعه الكويت لأبحاث العظام (كور قروب: www.korgroup.org) من قبل نفس المؤسسين وهي مجموعه مستقله غير ربحيه هدفت الى حل العديد من المشكلات في طب العظام من خلال انتهاج طرق البحث العلمي ونشر الأبحاث العلمية في أعرق المجلات العالمية. رغبت مجموعه الكويت لأبحاث العظام ان تتوسع بنجاحاتها من خلال اشراك مرضى العظام وتمكينهم بالمعلومات والمعرفة المعتمدة من خلال موقع الكتروني يحتوي على معلومات طب العظام باللغة العربية.

Dr. Meshal Alhadhoud
Dr. MESHAL ALHADHOUD, MBBCh, Orth-SB, MBA
Orthopedic Trauma, Foot and Ankle Surgeon
Meshal Alhadhoud is a full time orthopedic surgeon at Ministry of Health, Kuwait with part time clinical tutor at Medical School, Kuwait university. He completed his medical training in 2005 and completed subspeciality training in Orthopedic Surgery in 2014 at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh (National Guard Hospital). Then he completes a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma Reconstruction at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh. This was followed with Foot & Ankle Reconstruction Surgery at Dalhousie University. This was followed by a Medical Research Fellowship at Dalhousie University while working part time in clinical practice. In 2020 he has awarded a Master of Business and Administration (MBA) Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.Dr. Alhadhoud devotes his working time to clinical practice focusing on Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Reconstruction and Orthopedic Trauma reconstruction. During research time he is focusing in improving orthopedic research in Kuwait in his field. He published many epidemiological publications to act as reference for his future publication. His future focus will be out come studies in his specialties represent Kuwait and Middle East population.
Dr. Najla Alsiri
Dr. NAJLA AlSIRI, MSc, PhD, ORS, ISB, MCSP.
Doctor of Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, first specialist orthopedic physiotherapist. Dr. Alsiri is working since 2005 in Al-Razi Orthopedic and Rehabilitation hospital, Kuwait, focusing on the management of post traumatic injuries and post orthopedic surgical Rehabilitation. Dr. Alsiri has been awarded a PhD degree from the University of the West of England, Bristol, United Kingdom in Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Hypermobility-related conditions, with sub-speciality in kinesiology, three dimensional motion analysis of the gait and movement, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasonography and sonoelastography. She has been also awarded an MSc degree in musculoskeletal rehabilitation from Cardiff University, United Kingdom, specialized in shoulder pathologies and management. Dr. Alsiri is an active researcher directing her post-doctoral research activities toward the orthopedic field, and establishing a diagnostic indicators for hypermobility syndrome being funded by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS). She has successfully published numerous papers in leading peer-reviewed journals, and she is a registered reviewer in various robust international journals. Dr. Alsiri participated in national and international conferences. In 2021, Dr. Alsiri has been added as a guest speaker in the University College of London.
